When porting from Silverlight to WPF do you also use different Class Libraries for each project?

I have primarily created an Silverlight Application with additional Silverlight Class Libraries as called in VS2008. In WPF project the files from Silverlight Application are included as links and references point to the original Silverlight Class Libraries. Is this OK or should I create normal Class Libraries instead? (How is this done in Silverlight/WPF Toolkit?)
