Jeff,

I agree that it is in ints initial phase.However are you going to provide the CI and Build Support.I had a look into different framework like silverunit etc;

My concern is I can use Nunit or Mstest together with silverLightUT but what are the supported scenario for CI??Can I invoke UT from msbuild and powershell?

The same stand for code coverage?

@Shreeman,
The NUnit implementation is a "proof of concept," and has not been tested to the same level as the Silverlight test framework that uses MSTest.

jeff,

If Nunit can be used to test SilverLight Why Should I use SilverLightUT?

Any update on the issue of publishin the test result?

I'm more than eager to use this framework in our continuous integration builds.

Thanks!

Excellent, I was also looking for a way to push the test results back to a web service - and was directed to this post from the silverlight forums.

Has the test service been released yet? Sorry for my impatience - my PM has been hounding me to get a test framework in place for our applications, and I think this would be the ideal way to do it.

@Figment engine,
The "test service" is what will have a release in January in some form.
The NUnit bits described in this post won't be revised beyond this.

@Jeff:
oh, confused - in your previous comment you said:
"I am hoping to provide some guidance here, if not a complete release, as soon as I get the time. I’m thinking by late January I should have this done."

@Figment engine,
This is only a proof-of-concept, there will not be a more 'official' release.

@Jason, @Carel,
Yes, I understand. There's a "test service" infrastructure built into the framework, but the missing piece to be released to the public is the appropriate service & reporting setup.

I'm trying to find the best way to clean up the implementation for release, right now it does a lot of specific things that just would confuse the release.

I am hoping to provide some guidance here, if not a complete release, as soon as I get the time. I'm thinking by late January I should have this done.

Thanks Jeff

I want to also ask the same question as Jason. How do I get the test results out of the framework. I've created a custom Logger to log the results in the format required for our CI Server (JetBrains TeamCity), but I am unable to get the results out of the framework.

Thanks
