@Everett,
The December release is not out yet. I’m just trying to include the changes that are shown on the CodePlex work items (fixed work items and bugs) for the AutoCompleteBox, so that this guide will also be useful with the next release.

This also points out some of the features that were not in the November release, such as ObservableCollection.
