Ashraf,
I think there's a place for Silverlight to coexist with other web standards.

This web site uses just a little Silverlight 1.0 in the header, otherwise I rely on knowing that just about any web client out there, even an iPhone or small mobile device, can read the content without having to be dependent on the Silverlight runtime.

Having worked on Flash and Flex projects in the past, it's clear that some developers want rich and flexible apps, while others want true standards-based apps.

I don't think the .xap split is easy to accomplish today, I'll ask around.

simply wonderful.

do you think silverlight will replace asp.net / ajax stuff?

i am in a process of developing a silverlight application (eg. accounting), but i want to split application into some user control (load on demand). is it possible to load .xap file dynamically? instead of loading everything at once.

thanks.
